That is too funny. Is he on a roof???? Ours never fly that high!
He is on the neighbor’s roof. Sat there for a good 20 minutes. Very odd duck behavior!
I’ve never seen a duck perch on a roof! Too funny!
Hugs from Ecuador,
Kathy
It was so odd! He just sat there and looked around. We have ducks in the yard all the time but this guy decided he needed a view from the roof, I guess.
Whose window is he peeking into up there on that peak?
The neighbors!!! Although I don’t think he could see much from that vantage point.
This is strange alright.
HA! We only seem to get seagulls — which is weird since we are not on the water. The river is miles away.
Seagulls show up in the Walmart parking lot here all of the time……makes me wonder what that means. 😉
Someone should get that duck “down”.
🙂 He came down eventually….but it was definitely odd.
Remember, “be kind to our web-footed friends.. for a duck may be somebody’s mother….”
Oh now I have a song headache. 🙂
Mission accomplished!
How did he get there and how is he going to get down. Silly duck!!
He flew both ways. It was so weird. And he sat there forever. Just taking it all in…..
The look out! 😉
We need a neighborhood watch—-this duck is hired!
He’s probably only asking for peanuts to help
Peeking Duck!! Your brilliant.
I’ve never seen a duck on a roof before! I have seen Canada Geese on roofs, took pics of them last year on the roof of the apartment block next door.
He looks like he’s surveying his kingdom!
He must have been looking to make sure there was a house for him.
There are plenty for him—-he was just checking it all out I guess.
Neighbor’s home is his home.. he must have a family!
Our pair has been on the roof before, guess they were scoping out the yard before landing.
It’s so odd to see them on a roof. I just did not expect that.
