All About Me!!!!

P1150878Thanks for clicking!!!  I am so glad you are here and I hope that you stay awhile!  My blog is just an extension of my life and while you are here you may read about my travels, my family, see pictures of my teapot collection, a devotional  or just simply get a glimpse into my life.  It is not always exciting but it is me and I love to find out what others think about what I am doing and writing about! I welcome everyone here and hope that once you visit you will want to come back time and time again.

One of the best things I have started on my blog is my Comments for a Cause !  Every month I choose a different charity to donate to.  You can view which one is the current one on the upper right column.  For each legitimate comment that month I will donate 50 cents to that cause.  It has been a really great thing to do and I am happy to honor a lot of different “causes” so please comment away!

Please feel free to sign up for an email notification for my posts, subscribe by RSS feed, follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest and comment as often as you want to!!!  I love to make new friends and count it a joy to be able to share my adventures with you!

Thanks for coming along on my adventures.  You are a very important part of them.

Peace and Blessings!

Beth Ann

  2. Beth Ann, thank you for your response and good wishes. But the very first thing I saw on your blog, was a taco, which I consider a sandwich! lol. I am happy to inform you that I have subscribed to your blog, and I’m looking forward to reading your entries. By the way, my wife’s name is Beth Ann too, though the Ann part is and was seldom used. I only remember her late mother calling her that.

Have yourself a magnificent day. You can do it!

    • Jack, Thanks for the sweet comments and for getting the email subscription to my blog. I don’t have as deep thoughts or postings as you most likely but hey—it is me!!! I am loving meeting new folks via blogs and I love your offerings every day! I have shared many with my husband and he likes them too! I love using my middle name now—makes me feel all Southern or something!!! Thanks again for stopping by and commenting!!! You have yourself a super day!

I’m going to have to check out the “things that make you happy” page.

  7. Beth Ann,
I think it is great that you are supporting the Down’s Association. I have been a speech/language pathologist or special needs teacher for the past 23 years. Some of my favorite students have had Down Syndrome. I have some great stories…. Thank you!
    Randi

    • Randi—thank you SO much for your kind words and comments!!! That means a lot to me to hear it from YOU! I have been majorly surprised by the outpouring of love and support that I have gotten from siblings, moms, dads, aunts and uncles and others who have loved ones with Down Syndrome. Of course I have my own personal reason for supporting NDSS (one Carlton Scott Chiles!!) but it is so neat to see how many people have been touched and moved enough to comment. All the while I am ticking away the count for how many comments will go for Comments for a Cause this month! It may break the bank!!! But that is all good! Thanks again, Randi!!! I am so happy you stopped by!!! Hope all is well!

  8. Hi Beth Ann, so nice to meet you! I want to send you my sincere thanks for leaving such encouraging comments on my posts at My 3 Little Birds. I am always so happy to see that you’ve visited. I so admire your passion for sharing life and especially your dedication to charity!

  15. Beth Ann, thank you for Following my blog. I’ve often clicked over here after I’ve read one of your comments on Katybeth’s blog and I must confess I’ve “lurked” and lingered a bit. Why I never signed up to follow you is beyond me — I’m remedying that right now!!

  16. Hi Beth Ann! I’ve come over from TB’s blog to read her guest post here and I love your blog! I adore teapots and teacups and all things china, so of course I was intrigued to read your Teapot section, I would be here all day just looking at all your teapot posts but I’m a bit short of time so just took a quick look, but I will be back very soon to take a proper look very soon and also at your other posts.

It’s lovely to meet you. Sherri 🙂

  17. Hello Beth,

You don’t know me I’m Zoe but Rara suggested that I contact you. I’m presently trying to raise funds to help a fellow blogger/friend who is about to lose her home. Rara said you may be able to help. If could or would be willing in any way blogging about her or otherwise, that would be wonderful! This is the link to the fundraiser https://www.youcaring.com/savemerryshome
If you have any questions or want to contact me my email is tellsafe at hotmail dot com

    • Hey Zoe—thanks so much for stopping by and thanks to Rara for sending you over my way. I was so sorry to hear about your friend and all that she is going through—it sounds like she has struggles beyond belief and that makes my heart sad. I will definitely spend some time on her blog and see what I can come up with —–a blog post at the very least to spread the word. I am traveling the next couple days so I won’t be able to get to it till later this week probably but I will definitely do a post about her. I know that bloggers care and I am so touched that Rara sent you my way—-she knows my heart, I guess. I will be in touch! Thanks again for stopping by!

      • Hello,

My heart just breaks for this lady. Thank you very much for even getting back to me while you’re away. Rara’s a wonderful lady. Have a great trip.

        • Of course—-Rara is indeed a wonderful lady. I can just imagine how this situation is so difficult. I hate to hear about people who of no fault of their own suffer injustices and it seems like that may be the case here. I will work on reading about her and see what I can come up with. Thanks again.
