Claudia Must Die—-or Must She? It’s Up to YOU to Find Out.

I have had the honor and privilege of making so many great friends because of blogging.  Some of my favorite bloggers are now published authors and many have started their publishing career during the time that I have followed their blogs so that makes me believe that I am part of the process.  Not true, of course, but it certainly is  exciting to be on the journey right along with them.

Today I am thrilled to feature my friend, T.B.Markinson, who has become a great friend across the pond.  You may recall I have shared her with you many times before with her other books and also with her gift of Queenie –my absolute favorite teaball.

She has a new book out and it is available RIGHT NOW so don’t delay in getting your own copy.  I have posted my review here so you can read what I thought about her fourth (how DOES she do that?) novel.  But without further delay—please read what my friend, T. B. Markinson shared with me today.

I have experienced many life-changing events over the past four decades. Some involved moving to new places, like Boston to London, England. Some were devastating events. Others were happy, like graduating from college.

One thing that transformed my life for the better occurred in 2011. That’s the year I moved to London, but I’m not talking about that. It’s also the year I started my blog, The Fifty Year Project. I understand that some of you may be giggling right now over the possibility that a blog changed my life. And I see the humor, I do.

But I still agree with my statement. When I started my blog, I had no idea what I was doing. None. I was Freshly Pressed a few months in, and I didn’t even know what that was. All I knew was that for some reason a lot of people were visiting and commenting. When I Googled Freshly Pressed I figured it out.

Even though it was exciting to be Freshly Pressed, that’s not what I’m talking about. You see, for me, the best part of my blog is the interaction with other bloggers. I know this sounds cheesy, and during my pre-blog stage I would be rolling my eyes. The first time I heard about blogging I thought it was a ridiculous notion that would never catch on.

Boy was I wrong.

Back when I started, I wanted to be a writer. I wasn’t sure how to turn that dream into a reality. When I moved to England I was suddenly unemployed and needed something to do with my time. I started writing. When I shared this news with my fellow bloggers I wasn’t sure what the reaction would be. Would they scoff?

That wasn’t the case at all. Almost every single blogger cheered me on. And some of you wonderful people started giving me advice on how to pursue my dream. Again, I know this will sound cheesy, but I couldn’t have done it without all of you. Not only have you cheered me on. Many of you have helped me promote my books. Many have read and written reviews. And some of you read early drafts and help me track down typos.

The enthusiasm and support I receive from all of you has changed my life and continues to change it. Thank you, blogging community. I can’t say it enough, “You guys rock!”

Here’s a bit about my latest release: CLAUDIA MUST DIE

Blurb:

Claudia doesn’t feel like herself anymore—she feels like prey. Her husband’s hired goons have stalked her all the way to Boston and will only stop their pursuit once she is dead.

Divorce is not an option. Instead, she has stolen a bunch of her man’s money to disappear into another life.

In order for Claudia to live, someone else must die. A lookalike college student becomes the target capable of freeing her from an awful marriage.

The plan goes horribly awry. Instead of murdering Claudia’s double, the assassins shoot the woman’s lover who is the cousin of a powerful Irish mobster. Claudia becomes hunted by all involved. Can she survive? Should she?
