Welcome to My Favorite Things Week on It’s Just Life! Every once in awhile I share with you, my lucky readers, some of my very favorite things. This week I will not only share on my blog but I will share in real life. All seven days this week I will give away the product that I am featuring that day.
It will be very simple for you to enter to win. Simply leave a comment on the post about the product featured. It can be as simple as telling me why you would like to win it or what you would do with it if you did win. Can’t get much easier than that, can you? The bonus is that each comment will go towards our Comments for a Cause for the month–Bridges Mentoring.
So without further delay today’s favorite thing is a little thing that I found on Facebook. I actually entered a contest and won one of these wonderful bookmark cards and I loved it so much it quickly became one of my favorite things.
In My Book®Bookmark Greeting cards are the neat combo card bookmark greeting card with unique and interesting black and white images. The front of the card tears off at the perforations to create a nifty bookmark to use in your latest read. You can find all of the selections by going to the website here or by visiting their Facebook page here.
Today you can win one of your very own. Aren’t you the lucky one? Just leave a comment. A winner will be selected at random and the winner will be announced on October 2nd for all of the giveaways. Please feel free to share on social media—just use the social media sharing button options at the bottom of the post.
I have not been paid or received anything for my recommendation of this product. I just really love it! I did win one of these in a contest on Facebook but it has nothing to do with my own personal giveaway.
Very cool! As much as I read, I could always use a “real” bookmark, instead of whatever scrap I get my hands on! 😉
They are really neat ! Good luck!!! Thanks for always being such a faithful reader!
You sound like me. Bookmarks are often odd items in my house so these would make it so much better, wouldn’t it?
I LOVE these! One of my very dear friends just moved out of state (far away :(), and I would love to send her one these. One of our favorite things to do has been to discuss the latest book we love!! Thanks,
Gayle–they are so very cool! I love them and had to share with you guys! There are all kinds of different ones and any reader would love one! I think it is would be a great thing for you to send to your friend so GOOD LUCK! Thanks for stopping by!
How neat! I love my electronic readers, but there is nothing like holding an actual book in hand and a good old fashion bookmarker. AND like the days of checks, stationery, stamps and cards, it is required to be pretty! These are beautiful!
I agree. I love my ereader, too, but I usually have one or two physical books going along with whatever I am reading on my ereader. These are unique and special and I love them all! Choosing just one for a giveaway was hard!
I love a real book marker. This one with the red background would be one to easily spot.
In memory of Lauren Bacall who passed away recently, I remember getting a book mark with my book purchase of her autobiography Lauren Bacall by Myself. It was a cutout of her in a bathing suit as a young starlet. I do not know what happened to it.
Oh that bookmark of Lauren Bacall sounds amazing. My favorite one at the moment is a fish one that my brother gave me from Arizona Fish and Game where he works. They had a mess of them years ago and he gave them to us at Christmas. I still have a few lurking around.
I would love to win this. I probably would give it as a gift as I have so many reader friends. What a great idea.
I think these are perfect for you! They are just so creative.
A wonderful bookmark. However, I am undeserving since I turn the pages back in my “real books.” So just count my comment towards support for Bridge Mentoring and let a more deserving reader take my chance to win the bookmark . Wonderful idea and very generous.
You are deserving my friend!!! I don’t care if you dogear your books at all. Your book–your rules.
Those are the perfect cards for readers. I still haven’t made the plunge into electronic books, but love the real ones.
They are the perfect cards! I love how creative they are and there is one perfect for every occasion.
I love to read, but don’t get a ton of time to do it, but when I do, I dog ear my books!
This might be just the thing for you! That way your book can stay pretty. :-0
It’s cute. I honestly don’t read much except online so my comment is for the cause. 🙂
You could give it away!!!!
Very true. 🙂
Gibber, it’s not -just- a bookmark, it’s a *greeting card* too (complete with red envelope). Send it to all of your book-loving friends for any occasion (mother’s day, father’s day, graduation, birthday, anniversary, new job, engagement, book club reminder, etc. etc. or just to say hi!!)
It’s more than meets the eye, right, Robin?? 🙂
You find the most interesting products. Love books and creativity and greeting cards, and, well, this product. Can’t wait to see what you highlight the rest of the week.
It’s going to be a fun week!
I never have enough bookmarks–or can’t find them when needed.
I know! Same here!
Do you have one for my kindle? lol
I have something else later on in the week for your kindle so come back!!!!
Always..
I’d love to send one of these to my now 85-year-old aunt. She was a 3rd-grade teacher for many years and was something of a mentor to me. She and I share a love of the written word and “talk books” with each other as often as possible.
That is awesome!! That is such a great thing that you share that with her. My mom who is going to be 85 next month was a 3rd grade teacher also and I know that I got my love of reading and books from her! Thanks for stopping by! So happy to have you here!
You can never have too many bookmarks! It would be nice to have an “official” one, other than a scrap piece of paper….or a tissue (clean, of course)….or whatever else I can find to mark my page!
I know! They are always so elusive. I have one right here on my desk with a deer on it but where was it last week when I needed it to mark that place? Nowhere to be found!
I always find myself searching for bookmarks in gift shops! They always seem to add a little something when they have an interesting saying on them.
I agree! I would love to see these get put into gift shops around Mason City—-I am going to work on trying to get some info out to shop owners about them. We will see if that works.
I could use a new bookmark! I remember when you won one of these earlier and I checked them out.
These are so cool and she really needs to get the word out about her business so I hope to help with that a little bit. Good luck!
