Share Your World –2014 Week 35

I decided to try out a new thing this week just for fun.  Cee from Cee’s Photography has a fun thing going on every week where bloggers Share Their World.  Patti from A New Day Dawns has shared her world for quite a while and I thought this week it would be fun to change it up a bit and join in the fun.  Make sure you hop over to Cee’s to see what is going on. Here are the questions Cee poses for week 35.

Have your blogging goals changed?  Absolutely.  When I first started blogging it was basically to keep our family involved in our activities when we lived in Australia.  Then it morphed into an “I like this blogging” kind of thing and a great way to express myself creatively and make some new friendships.  I am going to be launching a new “look” on the blog soon and hopefully will make it look a bit more professional and polished.  Goal now is to try to continue to improve my writing and have an outlet for my thoughts and ideas.

If you were to perform in the circus, what would you do?  I think I would be a lion tamer because–well, you know—I have quite a way with cats.  buddyandholly

If you could go back and talk to yourself at age 18 what advice would you give yourself? Or if you are younger than 25 what words of wisdom would you like to tell yourself at age 45?  I actually wrote a post similar to this a while back where I wrote a letter to my younger self.  The main advice I would give to myself is to relax and enjoy and don’t be so critical of myself and my perceived shortcomings.  It will all work out. (It certainly did. )

What is your favorite comfort snack food? Dark chocolate.  Anything is better with dark chocolate.  Anything.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  Being grateful is very easy when you have had the week that I have had.  I got to be involved in a wonderful, romantic wedding of a couple who are tailor made for one another.  Looking ahead I am very excited to be able to spend some time with my own Mr. Diamond and later on with my mom.  Those times with family are cherished times indeed.

Feel free to leave any answers to the questions in the comment section if you don’t want to do the whole challenge at Cee’s.  Remember our “Cause” for the month is Bridges Mentoring so comment often.  shareyourworld

  1. What a great idea! Love this!

  2. Reflection can be good. Let me say that no matter what you write here, how your blog evolves, your writing will always reflect the loving, caring, kind and compassionate person that you are. That will never change.

  3. Dark chocolate all the way. You cats are adorable. Thanks so much for sharing with us this week. 🙂

  4. I’m a weird one, I’m not a big chocolate eater. 😉

  5. Sandy Evans says:

A little dark chocolate helps me get through anything!

  6. I’m so glad you joined in the fun this week. Thanks for the mention, too!

  7. I’ve never joined in the “Share Your World” meme, but it’s a fun one. I’ve been reading Patti’s for quite awhile.
Love your answers – I guess that I, too, would have to be a lion tamer!

  8. Comfort food: Popcorn made in MY WHIRLEY POP. I would want to be the ring leader announcing…. In RING NUMBER 1 whilst pointing with my long cane at you putting your head in a lions mouth.

  9. A great idea for a blog meme! Right now – I am just happy to be back blogging at all! Very grateful for a new power cord that arrived a week a head of time, and that I got my laptop all charged up in no time! I would have ate a LOT of dark chocolate this past week – if I had any! 🙂

  10. My favorite snack is also dark chocolate. Hubby will sometimes buy me a family size bar of Cadbury Dark Chocolate. I put it in the fridge & then break off a single row when I want a little something.

I love your comments--each one makes me smile and makes a difference for Comments for a Cause! Thanks!
