Teapot Tuesday

Isn’t she lovely?  A pretty red German teapot just aching to be filled with some lovely hot tea.   I found this beauty on Ebay awhile back and fell in love with it.   Nothing makes me smile wider than a red teapot.  Well—maybe Mr. Diamond.

A slightly sticky label tells me this gem is a German teapot.

  1. Ooooo Beth Ann that was a find! Very very pretty! And the red is perfect with the little white flowers!

  2. Becky Miracle says:

OH this one is SO pretty! Love the red,of course!

  3. Lovely! I used to collect teapots. I sometimes wish I hadn’t given them all away.

  4. She’s very lovely. In the photo the knob on the top looks like a bird with the tip of the leaf just barely peering through to make a beak.

  5. A gorgeous red color it is with those little white delicate flowers. Love it.

  6. Love this teapot!!! Beautiful color!!

  7. Helen Brown says:

this one is a beauty. I like the colors and the shape that look so special.

  8. Beth Ann, this is such a happy-looking teapot! Love the red color, and it definitely looks big enough for more than one cup. Because who can drink just one??

  9. So cheery. And, yes, I bet Mr. Diamond makes you smile a whole lot more than any red teapot, or any teapot.

  10. My family background is German and I seem to fall for anything German, so I am so in love with this cheerful teapot. It would be perfect for the Gut’s Nachtle tea I bought in Passau Germany. I also love the quote. (Hubby is not German but tells me he falls for anything German as well, lucky me!)

  11. beautiful colour!! just a lovely design.

  12. Well since I love the colour red, and I’m half German, how can I not like this teapot?! lol

  13. So pretty! And even more so with the greenery for a background.

  14. I LOVE this one! It has such character! You can see she’s a little sassy!!

  15. A fiery, hot passionate tea pot with a saucy figure. I think this tea pot belongs in Texas….just sayin’

  16. That’s what I need right now, a cup of tea! Lovely teapot–it’s perfect in red.

  17. Ooo, love tea. My favorite is Trader Joe’s Jasmine Green Tea. I’m sure it would taste delicious being served from this lovely tea pot. You have a joyful blog, filled to the brim with variety. Your comments for a cause is a wonderful idea. Wishing you lots and lots of comments, Margie

    • Margie—thanks so much for stopping by!!! I do love a jasmine tea!!!! Thanks for the sweet comments—-Comments for a Cause is THE best thing I have done on my blog. It is a great way to highlight things that others may not know about. Thanks again!

  18. This is a teapot I would be happy to display! I have a Brown Betty teapot (how boring, but it does the job) so it’s not the kind for displaying!

I love your comments--each one makes me smile and makes a difference for Comments for a Cause! Thanks!
