Who Couldn’t Use a Mug O’ Comfort About Now?

After the week that I had last week I think I could use a Mug O’ Comfort and I suspect a lot of you out there in the blogosphere could also!  Thanks to Sincerely, Jenni who alerted me to this fabulous Swap from Chaotic Goddess Swaps!   It has been a really long time since I have done a swap of any kind and I jumped at the chance to do this one.   Maybe you will, too.

It is really quite simple.   Hop over to the blog post at Chaotic Goddess, read the rules of the swap and if you can join in—do!   What does it involve?   You just need to fill a package with goodies for your partner that you, yourself, would love to receive.  The package must include a mug, and stuff that goes along with it (tea, coffee, cocoa, cider, etc)- anything else you want to include is up to you!   That is about all there is to it but of course—please read the rules and deadlines to make sure that you can participate properly before you sign up.

Sign ups end soon so don’t delay if you think you might want to join in the fun!

Seems easy peasy to me and on this cold winter day when the snow continues to pile up outside I am dreaming of what I can put in a mug and what I will receive in a mug!!!

  1. Just signed up. Sounds like a good way to give/receive cheer during this cold winter.

  2. Alright, snow tally please? You poor thing. Sunshine here today in southeastern Minnesota, just across the border, ya know.

    • Hmm—probably only 4 inches yesterday. And guess what?? Our neighbor just went through and redid our walks with his snowblower. I am going to give him the Neighbor of the Year award!!!! If he only knew!

  3. What fun! I actually did something like this for my book club last year. We read a book that was set in England for our last book (we only meet during the school months). I thought it would be a cute little thank you gift. I bought them each a mug and filled it with a tea bag and scone from Panera. They really liked it.

  4. Ummmm, I’m so happy to know(after a bit of review) that it is a tea bag in the cup.. At first glance, I was sure if it was a laboratory experiment.. lol

  5. It sounds like fun,

  6. great idea. too bad I am away from home right now. I don’t think my mom would like it if she came home and find her favourite coffee mug missing! LOL

I love your comments--each one makes me smile and makes a difference for Comments for a Cause! Thanks!
