Wordless Wednesday

  1. How sweet. I thought I read “backyard buddies” in the email. You must have said “bunnies.” Silly me.

    Hugs from Ecuador,

  2. You DID say buddies. I think I see it now.

    • Pretty sure they are my deer buddies….hard to tell from this picture but I have lots of backyard buddies here—deer, bunnies, pheasants, turkeys and tons of birds. 🙂

  3. Awww…so sweet!

  4. Frozen Bunny poop?

  5. Well, I can top you on deer tracks. An elf stopped by my home yesterday and left a bag of fabulous treats hanging on the garage door.

I was alerted to this possible mysterious visit via email upon our return from an evening Christmas concert. I dispatched Randy into the cold to investigate. No tracks in the snow, but a tin and bag of delicious homemade goodies were discovered.

This is one thoughtful and kind elf.

    Thanks, Elf!!!

    • I had hoped that Randy would go through that door when he got home…….then I got to thinking that maybe he didn’t and I had better alert you! 🙂 Enjoy! This elf left Maxda CX9 tracks. 🙂

      • Just snacking here on a minty chocolate cookie. I need to hide that tin or Randy will say, “You ate all the treats!”

Thanks again, Beth Ann, for the treats and alerting me to your gift. I would have discovered the bag this a.m. had I gone out to shovel snow, which I have not done yet. Bad on me. Too cold to even want to consider that task. Maybe the weather will warm this afternoon?

        • I did get my shoveling done this morning! You know what helps? I put my earbuds in and listen to music while I shovel. I also wore a panda hat today so how could I not be happy while I shoveled? Glad you are enjoying the cookies! They were made with love.

  6. Am I missing something? I don’t see any poop.. 😀 I THINK I see deer tracks…..

  7. Bambi and Friends came to visit!

  8. Breathtaking!

  9. I was always thrilled to find deer tracks in the snow back on our property in Nova Scotia.

  10. I haven’t seen my deer for a whle. Maybe that have moved somewhere else that they like better.

  11. Do they go into the bird feeders at all? I’m sure they come to you because they know you have goodies!!! 🙂

    • I have two feeders in the back that are finally fairly deer proof but they nibble at the other ones. They have always raided my feeders and I try to give them some apples and stuff occasionally but we have about 8 -10 that come through that really clean the feeders out. We spend a lot in bird seed in the winter. 🙂

  12. Are Santa’s Reindeer living at your place?? tell tell! LOL
guess it’s time to put the apples out?

  13. Yes, your buddies left their mark.

I love your comments--each one makes me smile and makes a difference for Comments for a Cause! Thanks!
