Five Things I am Passionate About
- My faith and belief in God.
- My family—close and extended. I could not imagine life without them.
- Being kind to others—it is a very simple thing to do.
- Comments for a Cause—THE best thing I do on my blog.
- Staying connected with people who have meant something to me in my life—–too often we let friendships go by the wayside and with social media and technology it is so easy to stay connected today.
5 Things I Would Like to Do Before I DIe
- Have tea with the Queen of England. Plans are in the works for a trip to England so maybe this will happen????
- Write a book of some sorts—I know I keep saying this but someday I really do think it will happen even if it is simply a compilation of blog posts.
- Be a grandma. Obviously this one is not in my control.
- Go to Africa
- Meet as many of my “imaginary friends” as I possibly can.
5 Things I Say A Lot
- “It’s Just Life”
- “Stop Licking Me”—-(I have a cat that is constantly giving me a bath.)
- “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
- “Excuse me?” (My hearing may not be what it used to be.)
- “I love you.” (Can never say it too much in my humble opinion.)

- “Our State Magazine” (North Carolina)
- “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green
- “Prior Bad Acts “by Tami Hoag
- “Bastard out of Carolina” by Dorothy Allison
- “A Woman Lost” by T B Markinson

Join in the fun! Do this on your blog and tag me so I can see what your answers are. I had fun coming up with some questions and answers for this one so sometime when you don’t know what to write about just write a 5 x 5 post!!!
Great idea, Beth Ann! I especially love that you are working on tea with the queen. If that works out, may I join you? I love tea, too.
Hugs from Ecuador,
Kathy
Absolutely you may join in! I think it is a long shot though. 🙂
I hope to one day be one of the imaginary friends you meet!
It WILL happen!!! No doubt about it!
Love this 🙂 God bless you x
Thanks for stopping by!!!
I am blessed to be among the “imaginary” friends you’ve met.
BTW, “The Help” rates as one of my all-time favorite movies also.
Another thing we have in common!!!!
What is that you tell me? Sisters from another mother, or something like that.
Love these types of posts – you always learn something new! 🙂
I know ! You need to do this one sometime so I can learn more about you! 🙂 Hope you are surviving the back to school….
Since tomorrow is Tickle Me Tuesday, you might see something like this on Wednesday or Thursday. Breakfast Club is one of my daughter’s favorite movies too!
Oh goodie! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Tea with the Queen…Now that would be a great blog post and while you are visiting you might as well play with the royal tot a bit…..
Absolutely. Don’t you think they are both doable? 🙂
Well this is a fun little post Idea, I may have to try this myself. We have a few things in common, Top being Faith followed by family, I hope you get to be a grandma there is nothing like it, and I also have read “The fault in out stars’. Thanks for sharing some things about you!
Jackie—-definitely do this post and tag me so I don’t miss it!!! Sometimes it is fun to do things like this. Love that we have things in common!!! 🙂
I also liked the The Help but want to read the book as I hear it is very good also. I have been busy reading Richard Paul Evans books and now have read all except the ones for children.
I like Richard Paul Evans, too. I kind of get stuck in finding an author and reading all they have written in a row instead of mixing it up.
Always great to leran more about you but I wasn’t really surprised. (well maybe the stop licking me – until you explained it.)
I am glad you picked up on the “stop licking me”. She really has a problem….
“The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green may just be one of my favorite books. So well written. I still think about the characters even though it’s been months since I read it.
I had it recommended to me and I really loved it, too. There are so many darn great books out there to read. I am so glad that I get time to take advantage of them!
5 X 5–this is a nice format. You had me giggleing at the “five things you say a lot.”
Stop licking me is not what you would expect me to say a lot, is it? 🙂
That was too funny! My bracelet arrived! Thank you.
Type–should be giggling. I should stop blogging and get to bed!
