This week’s statements:

2. When it is a productive day  I hate when it gets interrupted and I have to stop what I am doing.
3. When I was little, my dream job was to be a librarian—this was after the nurse stage and my realization that I faint at the sight of blood.
4. 4. I could write a book about packing_.

Hop over to Hilary’s and join in the fun!   I had a couple weeks off but I am back!!!!

  1. Hopping from Hillary’s Friday Fill-in Fun. By chance, were you Belle in a previous life? I never knew anyone who wanted to be a librarian before, as a child. I always thought one of my daughters would become a librarian because they both have such a fondness for literature. It’s great to meet you. Have a fantastic Friday!

    • Hey Cathy! Thanks for stopping by! I don’t think I was Belle! I love libraries and books and all that goes with them —I have no clue why I didn’t pursue that as a career! Silly me!!! Have a great Friday!

  2. I’m sure it would be a well-written book. And your mother could illustrate that one too!

  3. I was tempted by nursing once. Then I had to change someone’s bandage and I ran from the room screaming. Writer it is.

  4. My first paying job was working in a library. If I wanted to go back to work i think I would love to do it again.

  5. What we dream to be as children offen are forgotten easily. I wanted to be a secretary and I took the classes in high school. I worked in the school office one day, and decided no. I helped in a first grade class and I ended up a teacher. I knew I did not want to be a nurse since I faint easily.

  6. I love (!) productive days… until they’re interrupted. Ooooh – packing – yep, know a lot about that one, too.

  7. I’ll bet you could write a book about packing. And trips to the airport…

    • The last trip to the airport stunk. Just saying. Ramp closures, road closures and my gps kept recalculating places I couldn’t go! It was very frustrating!

  8. I could use your tips on packing.. 🙂

  9. Hilary - Dangled Carat says:

I think you should write a book about packing – you probably have perfect advice!

    • Pack less than you think you need—–I always lay clothes out and then subtract a couple of outfits. And shoes—YOU would have an issue with shoes but best advice—2 pairs. Not that I can ever do that…..

  10. our grocery day was Thursday, and I am certain we were down to nothing but condiments. Just a lot of great stuff to put ON food……but no actual food. ha
I wanted to be a vet for awhile when I was younger, but then I realized I couldn’t handle seeing animals hurt. people? no problem. but not poor lil animals.

  11. 1. I don’t have a lot of time for writing my books and articles which is what I really want to do!
    2. When it is a sunny day I hate when it I have to be indoors doing housework.
    3. When I was little, my dream job was to be a teacher. That didn;’ happen, but now I teach people how to look for work.
    4. I could write a book about the dumb things people do when looking for work.that stops them from getting a job.

  12. I may have played nurse/doctor as a child but treating stuffed animals and dolls is definitely a let less nausea inducing than having to deal with blood and other bodily fluids. I can honestly say that becoming a medical professional has never been on my list! 🙂

I love your comments--each one makes me smile and makes a difference for Comments for a Cause! Thanks!
