Totally Teapot Tuesday

I got this cute teapot on Ebay because it was just so different!!!  Who would ever think to put King Henry VIII and his wives on a teapot???

  1. That’s pretty nifty. I used to love reading about and learning all about Henry VIII in school. It was such an, dare I say, interesting time period in England’s history.

  2. What a cool teapot! I got a teapot from Good Guy for our anniversary, and it has a lovely deep strainer/steeper that fits deep into the pot. I haven’t used it yet, but it’s really nice for a lone tea drinker.

  3. Oh, Beth Ann, this one is amazing! Gotta love Ebay. I missed you this weekend, as well, my friend!

  4. Oh I love it! I want it. It’s the perfect companion to my Sadler Robin Hood teapot. I really should take a picture of it to show you. We have lots of these unique Sadler china items ….not sure if the fact my late grandma’s maiden was Sadler is a coincidence.

  5. Helen Brown says:

This teapot is really something, so different and beautifully done.

  6. This whole period of English history was my favorite! This looks absolutely lovely & unique.

  7. I like this one–very unique with those points! It looks cool.

  8. Wow! That is definitely unique.

  9. That’s funny. I used to have a coffee cup that had him and his wives, but the wives didn’t appear until hot water was in it. What can I say, I’m a history nerd.

  10. That is quite the teapot. Love the shape of it… I’ve been watching a lot of Hen. viii stuff on netflix lately, interesting.

I love your comments--each one makes me smile and makes a difference for Comments for a Cause! Thanks!
