Wordless Wednesday

  1. Beautiful and creepy 🙂

  2. Amy Prentice says:

So…that’s what lives in the big shells….always wondered!!! Great picture Beth Ann! Did you ever consider being a photographer…you take some great pictures!

    • Aw. thanks, Amy!!! Took this one in Australia one day when it was a spectacular low tide and we saw all kinds of great things. I am a total amateur—Chris takes some really good shots, too. We have a lot displayed in our home of places we have been which is kind of a neat walk down memory lane.

  3. Cute little Hermit Crab … I love finding creatures on the beach at low tide. I think a big part of photography is being in the right place at the right time. Of course it helps to have your camera with you, or your camera with the right lens on, or just not being so awed by what you are seeing that you forget to take a picture. I have done it all, but still occassionally get a good shot of something special. And, like you said … the pictures are a great trip down memory lane.

  4. Some things and some people should NOT come out of their shells. YUUUCCCKKKYYY !!

  5. Helen Brown says:

He looks really big or is it the picture that makes him look huge?

  6. What a GREAT picture… did you wait around long enough for him (her?) to start hauling that shell down the beach?

  7. Love it! I’m in a beachy state of mind today as well.

  8. No words needed. Each of us is transported to our own special place.

  9. wow..the coolest picture yet!!

  10. That’s amazing. I’ve never actually seen a hermit crab other than at the store.

    • They are pretty cool. My brother has seen beaches just full of them and has told me all about that so someday I hope to actually see more than one or two at a time!

  11. Okay, I’m a day late getting here, but this is an amazing photo, Beth Ann. Love it!

  12. Great catch.

  13. Beautiful…you are so lucky to capture that

  14. So cool!
