Teapot Tuesday is Back!

Last week I did not post a teapot on my usual Teapot Tuesday since I was celebrating my Comments for a Cause success for the month and announcing my new charity for February.  Well—it’s back this week!!!  This one is a special  pottery one that is neither too big nor too small—it is JUST right!!!  Happy Tuesday!

  1. Simple and yet edgy. What’s on the handle?

    • The handle is a piece of bamboo or some flexible reedy type thing wrapped with a basket type reed around it. I guess I should have taken better pictures, huh? Now that I am back home I can retake pictures if the ones I took earlier aren’t that great. I am not a great teapot photographer I have found out!

      • Nah the picture is good. The reason I asked was because I thought it looked like bamboo. When I grew up in California, we had a bamboo bush in our backyard.

      • That would be awesome to have bamboo growing!!! My husband wants to live somewhere where we can have eucalyptus trees. Iowa is NOT it.

  2. the other day I discovered a nice little cafe in a nearby town. they also sold coffee and tea sets…..with some of the loveliest and most unique teapots with matching milk and creamers. I couldn’t help but think of your Teapot Tuesday posts. I was quite partial to the elephant set — the trunk was the spout.

    • Oh my—-an elephant one would be awesome!!!! I am so glad you thought of my collection—-I never knew my teapots would cause folks to think of me when they see an unusual one!!! Pretty cool!

  3. Funny that Rory mentioned that. I thought of your Teapot Tuesdays last night when I was washing one of my teapots out. I like the teapot you are featuring today… the pottery look just does it for me!!! 🙂

    • I know –I love the pottery ones because they are so unique!!! I am so glad that you guys think of me when you see one!!! That makes me happy. Also makes me want to buy more…..

  4. This is a great teapot, Beth Ann. Yay, life is returning to normal! 🙂

  5. I love the pottery look of this one. Very nice. Glad you’re home and getting back into somewhat of your normal routine.

  6. Helen Brown says:

    Another very pretty teapot.

  7. That is fun. One of your more normal ones. 🙂

I love your comments--each one makes me smile and makes a difference for Comments for a Cause! Thanks!
