Mid Day Meet Me on Monday!

A little delay on the post today—doing a bit of traveling and finally settled in at the youngest son’s place a bit ago.  Yippee!!! First class seat, no delays, easy jaunt to get the rental car and even though his place is not on the GPS since it is a new neighborhood I made it with no issues other than my GPS thought I was still in Iowa and told me it was going to take 18 hours to get from the airport to his place.  NOT!   And I already got my Bojangles fix so I good to go.

Linking up with Java from Never Growing Old for her Monday blog hop where she asks 5 questions and we all divulge our deepest and darkest personal secrets!!!  Enjoy and link up if you wish or tell me your answers!!!

This week’s questions:

1.  Crunchy or smooth peanut butter?
2.  What is your favorite color Rose?
3.  Do you remove your shoes when you walk into your home?
4.  What is your favorite season?
5.  Approximately how many hours a day do you spend blogging?

1 Crunchy–always crunchy!!! Though I have been eating a fair share of Sunflower Seed Butter these days which is definitely not crunchy so I guess I can be swayed…

2 Favorite color rose has to be yellow because it is what my Daddy always gave my Mom.   It gives me a smile every time I see one because I think of him.

3.  Do you remove your shoes when you walk into your home?  Usually I do!  When I am in the house I am usually barefoot.  It does not have to do anything with saving dirt or wear and tear on the carpet—I just love being barefoot!

4.  Favorite season???? Hmmm…..I think it has to be summer.  Love the beach, love the heat, love the warmth of the sun.  Need I say more?

5. Approximately how many hours a day do you spend blogging??   Now that is a good question.  Does this mean just writing my own blog or reading others???  Or does it count doing research for said blog and collecting pictures?   I don’t have an answer but it is probably way too  much.  It has sometimes taken over my life and I feel like I don’t really say much of importance most days but it is fun and a way to at least try to be creative.

So there you have it!!! Thanks, Java, for another set of great questions!!!   Don’t forget that comments made this month will benefit UMCOR —this is where I blogged about it before.   Check it out!!!

  1. I’m so pleased that your trip went so well. Yippee!!

I didn’t know there was such a thing as Sunflower butter stuff. That is cool.
    Awww about the yellow roses.
    Those shoes creep me out.
I refer to reading other blogs instead of working as research as well.

    • Hey I thought you would like those shoes!!! Seriously—I thought of you when I found the picture since you post such bizarre stuff yourself!!! 🙂

  2. Kristin Brænne says:

  3. What a great list! My answers are in the comments at Bernie’s.

Though we don’t seem to have a lot in common, I still like your style and look forward to checking out more of your blog.

    😀

    • Well, Sheri, thanks for stopping over!!! I blog about whatever ….no rhyme or reason usually!!!! But it is fun and I have made some great bloggy friends so hope you come back anytime~!!!!

  4. The shoes creep me out! Although, it’ll be cool to have it especially during halloween! 🙂

  5. We prefer smooth peanut butter.
We like yellow roses best too.
We keep our shoes on–I never go barefoot unless it’s really hot in the house.
Summer is our favorite season for sure although, football season is a close second! Gerard enjoys hockey season best.
Hours blogging varies. I would say at least 3 hours every day–including reading blogs too.

  6. Helen Brown says:

When reading your comment about the rose, I immediately thought of your dad also but was surprised you chose the yellow.

  7. What a great set of questions, Beth Ann – I love the bare feet and hot summers at the beach too! 🙂

  8. -Crunchy Peanut Butter
    -pink roses
-I just love, love, love being barefooted as long as the floor is clean.
    – I don’t have any idea how long I spend reading or writing on a blog.

The picture of the feet shoes is sort of creepy.

  9. Ooooh – you have peaked my curiosity!! I have never heard of sunflower seed butter! I am going to check that out for sure! 🙂

I am usually a fall gal but I have to say I am sooo ready for summer. Tomorrow it will be in the 50s and raining and I live in southern CALIFORNIA!! Unheard of in May!

  10. I’ve never heard of sunflower seed butter before. I might just have to keep my eye out for it.
    Have a great week!

  11. I haven’t been joining this meme in a while…too busy to control 2 active blog.

That foot picture is amazing!! I spent at least 8 hours when I am on holiday to write and read people’s blog

    • It is amazing how much time we spend on blogging, isn’t it? I really should keep track and then report back!!! Have a great day! Thanks for stopping in!

I love your comments--each one makes me smile and makes a difference for Comments for a Cause! Thanks!
